Realising the needs of the Cancer patients, more an ordeal for the patient's attendants to stay for months together in a city like Bangalore with high room tariff and escalating expenditure on food etc., and also considering anxiety situation of majority of the patients and their attendants, cooking their food under the sky, taking shelter under the trees, sleeping in the corridors, The Venkateshwara Dharmashala was constructed during the year 1984 with the donation from the Corporation of the City of Bangalore and the philanthropists and another Dharmashala has been constructed by the Infosys Foundation, wherein 500 patients and their attendants will stay.

The "Perpetual Free Feeding Endowment Donation Scheme" has been launched to feed the poor patients and their attendants on a designed day year after year, no commemorate Birth, Marriage and Death Anniversary of the donor or nominee on payment of an Endowment Donation of Rs.10,008/-.

Under the Scheme, Lunch and Dinner has been covered for 365 days and we have received donation for 235 days for Breaskfast. As we have to cover another 130 days breakfast, we appeal to you to donate towards the same. The donations towards the Perpetual Free Feeding is exempted under 80(g) ofthe Income Tax Act.
